I left Thirunelli yesterday after a very relaxing day and another massage. I had to catch 3 buses to reach my next destination, one of which was so bouncy it was like being at the fair ground but all of this discomfort was well worth it.
Ezhara Beach is about 10 miles south of Kannur and it is a long stretch of golden sand used by fishermen and the inhabitants of the 2 sister guest houses here. it is a very Muslim area so there is no lying around in bikinis but the water is warm and the guest house is on the beach. My room is very simple and the shower is outside but the food ( the price is for full board) is homecooked, traditional and delicious)
We are an all female household, 2 girls from Norway a Polish woman and me.. We are all of the same mind...sleep, eat, swim, relax in hammoks...sleep, eat, swim- although there is talk of a trip to the local shop today. I'm planning to stay here for at least 5 nights. :)
