Fort Cochin

We awoke much rested this morning, feasted on the traditional breakfast buffet and then headed off to catch the local ferry to Fort Cochin, unfortunately a strike meant that all the ferries were cancelled. We took this in good spirits, despite having walked around in the heat for about 1/2 an hour and instead jumped into a rickshaw. this proved to be a great move, our driver Muni really looked after us and took us to the Chinese Fishing Nets, Matancherry and Jewtown, he waited for us, got us coconuts to drink and took us to a great bakery where 6 samosas cost 36 rupees.

We then collapsed by the pool and sorted out our movements for the next few days. So far so good but we're still tired.
